As luzes, um ar aristocrático, cores e texturas delicadíssimas, o tratamento ora clássico, ora impressionista, isto sim me atraiu.

  2. I love the expression you have injected in it. You have captured the essence of the original but with vigour and sparkle :0)

  3. This is really interesting to me, Antonio, for reasons beyond both the beauty of the original and your own re-reading of it. It clears the final obstacles (and feeling of guilt)that I may have in drawing, in a similar way, the works of my own great hero Axel Herman Haig. I have a need to draw his 'A Moorish Archway, Toledo' 1884. I need to know how he felt as he drew it ... it is not enough for me just to look at it.

  4. This is of great interest to me, Antonio, for beyond the obvious beauty of both the original and your 'reading' of it, for it clears in my mind any feelings of guilt I may have for producing my 'reading' of, 'The Moorish Archway - Toledo (1884) by my all time hero, Axel Herman Haig. I don't want to try reproduce his work, but I need to know how he felt when he drew it ...it is not enough for me to just look at the picture.

    I love
